A Facebook account published footage about Nikola Tesla. The author of the publication added the following description to the publication: “Nikola Tesla’s voice recording where he says - the Rothschilds, the Rockefellers and Kabbalah hid free energy from the world to get richer and enslave people.” In fact, there is no such claim in this piece of footage nor is it confirmed that it is Nikola Tesla’s speech in the recording.

Footage with similar voice recordings which social media users attribute to Nikola Tesla are abundant on the internet. However, none of the official sources has hitherto confirmed the existence of Nikola Tesla’s voice recording. FactCheck reached out to the Smiljan Nikola Tesla Memorial Centre to verify this issue. The Centre did not confirm the authenticity of the voice recording and clarified that a recording of Nikola Tesla’s voice does not exist according to their information.

The following words are heard in the piece of footage published on social networks:

“Electric power is everywhere present in an unlimited quantity. It can drive the world’s machinery without the need of coal, oil, gas or any other fuel. This new power for driving the world’s machinery will be derived from the energy which operates the universe. Cosmic energy.”

Therefore, the voice recording says nothing about the Rothschild and the Rockefeller families or Kabbalah. At the same time, it is also not confirmed that voice recording belongs to Nikola Tesla
