Disinformation: Feminists in Europe painted Ukrainian tank pink.

Disinformation: Feminists in Europe painted Ukrainian tank pink.

Verdict: FAKE NEWS

A Facebook user who often disseminates disinformation about the war in Ukraine, published a photograph of a pink tank in social networks. The photograph has a Russian-language caption saying that feminists in Europe raised funds to buy a tank for Ukraine and painted it pink.

The photograph of the pink tank, disseminated in social networks, in fact has nothing to do with Ukraine. The search for the photograph leads us to the 2007 March of Dignity held in Manchester. In addition, an identical or even similar caption about European feminists delivering a tank to Ukraine cannot be found.

Therefore, information disseminated in social networks is false and seeks to discredit the military assistance provided to Ukraine and attack and denigrate the LGBTQ community.
