Trump’s Letter to Biden Has Not Been Made Public

Verdict:  Fake News

Analysis:

On 20 January 2021, Joe Biden was sworn in as the US president. According to the photograph released in a social network, the 45th president of the USA, Donald Trump, left a letter to his successor in the Oval Office, telling Biden:  “Joe, you know I won.”

See the photograph.

World Military

Donal Trump wrote a letter to Joe Biden in the Oval Office which reads:

“Joe, you know I won.”

Of note is that Mr Trump had indeed written a letter to Mr Biden, although the content of the letter has not been made public. According to the White House Spokesman, Judd Deere, “it is a letter between 45 and 46.”

President Biden himself made a remark after his inauguration in regard to the letter. According to Mr Biden, the letter was very generous. However, Mr Biden, similar to Mr Deere, refrained from divulging the other details of the letter.

Therefore, there is no evidence to prove the authenticity of the information promoted through the internet. The seal at the top of the fake letter in the photograph does not match with seals in other letters sent from Trump’s White House. In addition, the formatting of the date used in Mr Trump’s letters which have been made public is MM-DD-YYYY instead of DD-MM-YYYY as in the letter posted on the internet.
